    Uropappus lindleyi, or Silverpuffs, is native to much of the Western US. It is an annual that grows in many habitats, including grasslands, meadows, prairies, foothills and open woods. It blooms from early to late spring, with small yellow dandelion-like flowers.

    This plant looks similar to some other members of the genus. More information will be posted at a later time about differentiating other species.
